In decades of driving I've never had a car that could hold a medium sized bag. It is possible to use the passenger seat if you do not have a passenger. This is the best I've found, hands down. I can put my purse back on the console, slide it into this grid wall, and it stays there. It cannot fall on the back seat, it does not fall left or right because it is between two seats. Finally! Love it and the mesh pocket bonus makes it even better. Space for things like hand sanitizer, a water bottle, and a mask instead of filling cup holders. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Durable clips.
