This is a great device if it solves your specific problem. The wings can be bent (multiple times) to bring the item into a different orientation. It does NOT follow the VESA mounting pattern, so you can't just screw it onto the back of the monitor. If you plan to use a client-side USB hub because you need to connect more than two USB devices. Do yourself a favor and buy a different power supply. There is only 1 power cord in the box which you need on both ends (not both) but I found that 0.5A of current was not enough when I wanted to connect a 3rd device. As a result, the entire device lacks power, so you don't get video or USB connections or that USB connection goes in and out. but the video is not enabled. or other really weird stuff. I replaced the spare 1.5A power adapter from the Western Digital MyBook's hard drive and it's now working again straight away. I think the image quality could be even better compared to the original.
