I just got this item in the mail. My friend assembled it in 20 minutes with no problems. I am a 6ft 3cm female and got this chair thinking it would be tall enough to support me. So far so good and I can't wait to get him to work with me. All the ergonomic chairs in the office just couldn't handle my sciatica. A few weeks ago I realized that I can work better on my knees and was looking for kneeling chairs as a solution to allow me to work while waiting for my back surgery. So far, so good. I find that people who complain of knee pain probably aren't doing much stretching to begin with. Before my discs slipped out, I wasn't a yoga newbie and was sitting on my knees in a meditative position. For those with knee issues I would suggest trying light stretching/yoga and taking frequent walking breaks. I plan to update this in a few weeks to see how I feel. However, for smaller individuals, you might want to look at another chair with a lower height. All of this is noted in the description sections.
