I agree with Tony's previous review. I too have been using Sonicare brushes for years and usually after a while something in them seems to loosen up and they start making too much noise. I've only had this AquaSonic brush for a few days, but so far it's much better and much quieter than the previous Sonicare brush I had, even to begin with. I also love that the AquaSonic pauses for a split second every 30 seconds so you know it's time to move on to the next sector of your mouth. The Sonicare just beeps, which is fine as long as the brush itself is relatively quiet, but when it starts to sound like a freight train rumbles through your head, it's almost impossible to hear the beep. I like the UV sanitization feature to keep the brush clean. I've never delved into this feature, so I don't have the "muscle memory" problem Tony is working on. ;-) I have a few areas that I think could be improved (if the manufacturer reads these reviews). They, of course, do not violate the agreement, but will come in handy for future models. First, as Tony suggested, both the power button and the mode buttons are VERY sensitive. Squeezing it a little harder will go a long way in preventing accidentally turning the brush on or off or changing brushing modes. Luckily I didn't have that experience with the brush loaded with toothpaste and not in my mouth, but apparently accidentally hitting the power button while it's loaded with toothpaste and having that toothpaste spilled all over the bathroom wouldn't be a happy experience! Then add some little "feet" (?) to the bottom of the brush handle so you can load the brush with toothpaste, then place it on the counter to keep it from tipping on its side (check out those Sonicare brush on). ). , some of which have a more angular handle and others have small feet to keep them upright). I use Waterpik to brush my teeth before brushing and prefer to preload the brush so I can quickly move from one job to the next. I have a habit of just laying the brush on a towel or whatever to keep it from tipping over, but a 'built in' feature would be easier. The device must be connected to the network. But the instructions say not to leave the brush charging all the time. This means that you either unplug the base and don't use the UV function so you can put the handle in the base without constantly charging it, or you leave the base plugged in to use the UV function and the brush handle on to be placed on the shop counter or in a place other than where it should logically be after use. I don't know how to fix this without adding some kind of on/off switch or something to the base, but I'm sure someone can figure it out. I really enjoyed using this AquaSonic toothbrush. I highly recommend it.
