The colors are definitely gorgeous. I used white on half of the heart. I used red acrylic paint and the color faded really slightly to the marker which is a big + for me and I could rub it off with my fingertip and it turned white again. My disappointment: there is no red, pink is a mix of deep purple and lilac is just a hint of darker purple than pink. Orange is a copper color. Light brown is actually dark blue. I've included an image so you can see what the colors actually look like. In general I like the colors but I have yet to buy a pack of markers that match their color.
