The size choices were only XL or 4XL when I ordered mine. I ordered 4XL and decided too big is better than too small. I would order 2XL if that size was available. Turns out it didn't really matter because there are so many adjustable closures it could probably fit any size. The material is thick and absorbent. Actually too, I really think to myself, but it works. I'm tall so this hits me just below the knee, now mid-calf as shown in the model. I washed it and it's great. Without fabric softener, of course, otherwise it won't soak in. Very happy with this purchase. I wish it was pink but white works. It can be bleached so I bought white. I don't think you will be disappointed with this package.
