The chemistry of this product may not be for some of us. As an African American adult with coarse chin hair, I found this product to be inadequate. After applying the hair removal cream with the application tool, I waited 4 minutes before removing the product. Immediately after removing the cream and washing the face with water; there was no burning or itching. While the cream is dissolving the hair or after removing it from the face. 30 minutes after removing the cream, I briefly felt a slight irritation. To be on the safe side, I treated my hand with a finishing lotion; I felt tingling so I didn't put it on my face after using the hair remover. Fine, soft hairs are removed within 4 minutes. I do not recommend Surgi cream.
