Review on 🎡 Get Spotless Sound with Studebaker's Vinyl Record Cleaning System - Includes Solution and Soft Pads! by Jason Vigil

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I actually like the "vintage " Studebaker look more than the .

I bought this as a much cheaper (half price) alternative to the Spin Clean Vinyl Washing Machine as the two products look the same. In fact, I like the "vintage" look of the Studebaker more than the bright yellow Spin Clean system. Studebaker's instructions are a bit odd as they don't say to put water in the basin (but it is clear that there is room for water in the basin). Instead, they say soak the pads in cleaning fluid and spin the records 3-4 revolutions in each direction. I chose to use the Studebaker system in the same way as the Spin Clean, by placing 24 ounces of distilled water in a basin and pouring the cleaning liquid over two pads. I also bought some microfiber towels for the mopping process. On my first try, I cleaned 50 records before dumping out the water, which looked pretty cloudy. The sound quality of these records is much cleaner and the usual pops and clicks are much less. Differences with a note: The liquid had a spray nozzle, not a dosing cap like the Spin Clean. Instead, I buy Spin Clean liquid. The supplied cleaning cloth is also tiny and impractical (e.g. for glasses). All this is paid for though, definitely no real complaints so far!
