Installation is a little tricky, it's like installing smoke detectors. You need to plan ahead where the mounting holes should be so that the camera is facing the right direction when you rotate it into position. That being said, they appear to be good value for money. I don't know how long a set of batteries will last, they say around 3 months. I chose them as a temporary alternative until we figure out what home security system/service we want to use.
