Not new if you think about it

This item arrived and I boxed it up for Christmas without checking it carefully which was a mistake. My daughter opened it and the case was completely destroyed. It looked like someone had been actively using it for years. Photos of what we found when we opened it. Someone went for a large card to make it look like new with a foam insert and new plastic. Very very disappointing.
