I bought the unit in an open box so expected damage and the pulley was slightly bent and rubbed. I fixed it and tried to install it. What should be sliding washers are cast into the new compressor so nothing lines up. Couldn't tighten the bottom bolt and pulled the compressor out to find it was unthreaded and too big for the threads. After switching on, the compressor lasted about 5 minutes and the clutch began to slip and smoke. The "gasket" on the back of the case was placed directly onto the Sharpie and they did their best to make it look right. Spend another $80-$100, buy a real one and save yourself the hassle of swapping it out.
