I like this watch a lot but in my opinion it is very poorly designed. First I had to take it apart and manually rearrange the hands to show "straight up" 12:00 when the clock was first turned on (it was about 3 minutes). Thanks to the shiny glass, the clock reflects the overhead light and makes it almost illegible, so I decided to remove the front glass. The clock hands also have a glossy finish and reflect my white overhead light as they move across the lower half of the dial. Since the dial is also white, the reflection practically makes the hands disappear for a while, so I ended up removing the hands and painting them matte black to remove the reflection. So now that I've almost reworked the clock, it looks great, reliably syncs the time with WWVB and is easy to read from all sides. Honestly, that's how it should have been designed from the start.
