Review on ๐Ÿ•๏ธ Camping Solar Panel 10W: Waterproof Foldable Travel Charger with USB Port by Mike Goodwin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly! 24% battery charge in 1 hour

Im impressed. I had my doubts based on previous experiences with slow solar chargers, but it didn't disappoint. I connected my OnePlus 7 Pro phone (4000mah battery) with 69% battery life. Exactly one hour later the battery was at 93%. Definitely faster than other options I've tried. Folded: I measured the size of the device at 9.875 inches by 6.25 inches. The "Flip" side is 0.60" thick, the thin side is 0.25" and the plastic USB port on the opposite side is 0.70". Unfolded: 12.75" wide x 9.875" high. Thickness 0.10 inch. The plastic USB port on the opposite side is 0.55 inch thick. There are two carabiners designed to go into holes in the corners. This allows you to attach the device to the outside of your bag or backpack. Great if you want it to be opened and charged while hiking, or just handy for portability and storage. An IPX5 rating means it is protected against low-pressure jets of water from all directions. So it can withstand rain. However, it is not designed to be submerged in water. Also, don't forget to consider the waterproof rating of the device you're charging. The only thing I would warn you about is that while the solar charger is designed to be used in the sun, you don't want your electronics exposed to excessive heat or direct sunlight. For example, when I was charging my phone outside, I would wrap it in a towel and place the charger on top for shade and protection. You can also charge the power bank (which can withstand higher temperatures) and then use the power bank to charge your phone or tablet. This is a safer practice. Overall I am impressed with this solar charger and its performance. This is a great portable solution when chargers and other power sources aren't available. Or even if you just want to be green.
