We bought this for a 7 month old baby to give him educational and exercise toys. First, it has a switch! So you don't have to worry about the batteries popping out. It also has 2 volume levels. There is also a switch for driving and riding! The head and tail rotate as it rolls, either you roll it or it does. The good thing is that it keeps moving and rotating when it collides with a wall, toy or person. There are 3 buttons on each side, each of which runs 3 prompts and matches what is depicted on it. This is where it gets a little strange. Do you have a base color, a shape, and then shape elements like a sandwich and a Rubik's Cube? It will also snore at you if you let it sit and don't turn it off. And when he rolls he says random things nothing bad but when i first heard "mom i love you" i was a little nervous lol. The back is green but not very bright so my little one is easily attracted to it. A 7 month old baby has a bit of a hard time squeezing a lot but squeezing a little. This is a great toy that will grow well with him and will hopefully keep him entertained and in a reasonably normal state.
