For $15 you have something that will likely last forever. Not a bad deal. First impressions are a nice thick cardboard cover and even housed in a decent sleeve. The instrument itself is basically a heavy record with no grooves. I don't see anything like warping or degrading over time so it's worth it as long as you have the players. I have an AT LP-120 and my cartridge has been factory adjusted since I received it. I installed this alignment mat on my player and indeed it came off a bit. After about five minutes I installed it as close as my eye could see. The mat itself has a URL to the company's website where instructions are posted. If you go to the site, there is a short video that explains how to use it fairly quickly and succinctly. Yes, the protractor is free to print. I don't have a printer because it's a waste of space and fits on the shelf with my notes. Seems like a fair compromise.
