This beautiful bag is made of natural dark (goats**) leather with quality fittings and strong stitching. Love the rich color of the leather, the green interior is quite pretty and reminiscent of early 20th century saddlebags. I know it only gets prettier as the skin softens with use! It's very hard to tell exactly how big it is from photos, so I hope my photo will help others to know if it suits their needs. This bag is NOT an all-purpose bag if you tend to use your wallets for storage ;) You can carry a small to medium sized wallet (not large - my current rectangular wallet doesn't fit), phone, keys, lipstick and a pen. It's ideal for taking to a date or meeting, or for running errands. This bag is NOT meant to be taken anywhere, such as to class or work. What you have in it when you go out is pretty much what fits in, which is fine because it's not marketed as a carryall. I will be very happy to wear it everywhere; It's stylish, can be worn with most outfits and looks more expensive than it's worth. Four stars because in some places the seams are sewn up several times (not cleaned), a few threads are sticking out that had to be cut and the holes are very tight. It was quite difficult to pull a buckle through at first, but I'm sure the leather will soften and lighten with age. I would also have liked more holes in the strap. Now it can only be carried as a crossbody bag, and if there were more holes, it could be carried on one shoulder like a regular bag. I'll probably drill my own holes in it if I have a suitable leather punch. The overall quality of this bag will definitely make you believe that it's worth a lot more than it actually is. Ignoring these small details in the production process is the only downside (and the buyer can fix it). Buy this bag!
