I think this is a good bag for the price. It looked great. I think you get what you pay for. The paint will rub off your clothes, so don't use it with nice clothes. It also looks like the valve is sewn up with cardboard, or at least looks like it. I got rid of it after one use.

This is a tough handcrafted authentic western style saddlebag with stunning tan markings! I plan to use it as an everyday crossover bag. The smell mentioned in other reviews is due to the tanning process of the leather and will disappear over time. I generally like the smell of genuine leather bags. I only buy bags and boots made from genuine leather.

There was another review which has since disappeared warning potential buyers about the horrible smell. I don't know what the seller uses in this handbag, but a horrible smell consumed my apartment and car. I had my purse "aired out" for several months - it still smells - I couldn't use the purse. The seller didn't respond to my concerns and in the end Revain refunded my money in full. I find it suspicious that this wallet has received 5 star reviews.

This beautiful bag is made of natural dark (goats**) leather with quality fittings and strong stitching. Love the rich color of the leather, the green interior is quite pretty and reminiscent of early 20th century saddlebags. I know it only gets prettier as the skin softens with use!
