Very scratchy :( - Bath pillow

I was really impressed with the product out of the box. It was beautifully packaged and looked well made. Now I'm someone who takes a BATH. I will read, watch movies and can stare at it for hours. I noticed that the material is a bit scratchy but thought it would soften when it got in the water. It's "soft" but the mesh on the outside digs for one Into the skin for a while and it's irritated My skin is very irritated and I should stop using it Also it seems to dry quickly I would love to but I won't be returning the product because it's horrible but it was not quite what I had hoped for.
