I found this to look great. It traps the litter as advertised, and it's certainly waterproof as I have learned. The downside is that it is not easy to clean. It is not easily vacuumed out at all. It's durable, but seems to be constantly in need of being taken outside and hosed out. After eight months, we have decided to replace it. It's just very difficult to clean in our experience, but if you have better luck cleaning it, it's a durable and good looking mat.
