Update: I'm wearing tight pants and the adhesive is starting to come off after 1 day on the XR. To be fair the phone is slippery as hell and my pants are tight. This item appears to stick to the iPhone XR without a case. If left overnight when using more than 3 cards I can see the case being pulled out of the phone. Using just the case raises your phone high enough so the camera doesn't hit the table, but for those who were curious, I can use it with wireless charging when the case is empty. The 3M adhesive may not last long here in the AZ summer heat, and also because of the XR's tendency to get hot in use and charging. The only downside is that I don't understand how much of your cards, cash etc can be seen by other people as the cut out is used to get your stuff out of the pocket. If safety is an issue or you're very skeptical of people, maybe try one of the fully enclosed pockets with stickers. Headphones can fit, but. no This will most likely pull the pocket out, as will too many cards or too many bills. I hope this has answered many questions and helped you with your purchase decision! PS I have a silicone case that fits my phone. but it's quite stretchy, I can use this card case and this case with the case on my phone at the same time. If you have thin phone cases or minimalist cases, use the pocket on the case itself.
