I have ordered two clippers and both have the same defects. The cutting edges aren't perfectly parallel to each other, so you'll need to use a bit more force to fully close the jaws. Both clippers also have a slight overbite. The first one I ordered was so bad I immediately sent it back and ordered another. The second isn't as bad as the first, but it's marginal. These flaws might be overlooked on a $1 clipper, but this product just isn't made with the precision I would expect at this price point. I could ask the seller for a replacement but they would probably just send me another broken clipper. I could just stick with this hair clipper and use it because it works well. It just takes a little more pressure to make it snap into place on one side. These are pictures of the first hair clipper I received. UPDATE: I am also posting pictures of the second hair clipper. The second clipper has a less pronounced undercut and a wider gap on the sides of the jaws. The underbite on the new clipper may not be visible in the photo, but I can definitely catch it on my fingernail.
