Excellent budget bluetooth headphones; died after 4 months

I bought these to replace my E10s and decided to bite the bullet on the bluetooth connection although not fully needed at the time. Pros: They sound great and have a nifty long battery life. Previous Bluetooth headphones lasted about a day or less, these headphones lasted about 2.5 days of continuous use. I was a little confused by the neck strap at first, but it's easy to hide in the collar, so I ended up preferring it that way. The drivers themselves are attracted to a magnet, which is nice. Cons: Fixed cable - I wasn't expecting it at this price point, but that's what killed it, the frayed cable. Sorry, but lesson learned. From now on I will buy IEMs with detachable cables. Bluetooth can be buggy - does not support APTX, and from time to time the sound just cuts out for 1-2 seconds. I wouldn't send them back often, but it happens. Terrible navigation - I don't need a voice to tell me what my headphones are doing. A simple sound design can condense "Power on/off and low battery" into a short notification sound of 500ms or less. Trying to adjust the volume is also annoying, you have to hold down the volume buttons to adjust the volume, double tapping skips tracks. Which makes fine-tuning the volume excruciating. Micro USB for charging. I wish it was USB-C, the port has been sealed for four months now and probably won't last much longer. Despite all my complaints, I think it's pretty amazing for the price.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Factor set
