A lot of good storage racks like I have, have wire type shelving and all kinds of tool's feet and other things get caught up. These liners are super rugged. Almost, but not quite strong enough to be shelving material, perfect with large gap, wire shelving. Picture a flexible version of a cafeteria tray and you'd be on the right track. They're good.

I got this to line some of the wire shelving in the garage where we would like to store our weed and garden chemicals. This liner prevents smaller bottles from tipping over when they are placed in the gap because there is no gap! It will also help reduce any spills from getting down to the lower shelf. This is a good shelf liner for closets and other applications with wire shelves. The material is thick enough, and cuts easily with a sturdy scissors. It is smooth on the bottom side and has a light texture on the top side. The only thing keeping it from a 5 star review is the very strong vinyl odor. Hopefully it will dissipate with time, but after doing 4 shelves in a closet, the smell was so strong we decided to leave the door open to air it out faster.
