Review on 🪑 SEI Furniture Willingham Wall Mount Folding Desk: Space-Saving White Solution by Gillian Ahn

This is a great product for people who don't plan to use their desk a lot. Definitely not recommended for children. I got two of these for my girls ages 6 and 11 earlier this year, it's August now and in that time I've had to replace broken hinge screws for both tables at least twice. I ended up adding a stand as it takes minimal force to push the table down before the very small hinge screws come out of the chipboard. I also had to remount one of these with better quality screws than the package (yes I know how to mount things on the wall, 10 years house building experience). The screws did stay in the wall but the chipboard wasn't strong enough and pulled out from under the screw. I also had to replace the latch on one of them. The girls weren't even at the table at this point and the latch just clicked and the fold down section of the table fell off (this was the third time I've had to replace broken hinges). DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IF YOU NEED SOMETHING THAT CAN SUPPORT ANY KIND OF PERMANENT USE. I would rather build my own out of solid wood and it would cost 1/2 the amount.
