Two comments. One is the overall quality of the duvet and the other is a weighted factor (there are safety instructions on the packaging). It's definitely heavy - when folded it's hard to carry around - but it doesn't carry any significant weight. Personal preference but the dinosaur pattern seems younger than the age of a child who would use a blanket of this weight. Blanket State Instructions apply to children over 3 years old and weighing over 25#. Still, I find it too heavy for my 3 1/2 year old grandson. At the same time it was me, middle-aged, as a cozy and comforting blanket for my knees. And to all of the family who pack it first - it's cozy! OVERALL QUALITY: SUPER SUPER SOFT! Both sides of this weighted dinosaur blanket are ULTRA SOFT! There are many cute dinosaurs on the dinosaur page, and the material is fluffy and soft. The other side is white, square, wool style, super super soft material. Absolutely cozy! Large size - this will easily make a knee-to-toe throw for an adult sitting on the couch (like me!). The glow-in-the-dark aspect is pretty faint - there's not much to notice, the edges of the dinosaurs glow, and at least from what I have, the glow fades quickly. clean. Only spot cleaning according to the instructions is recommended. One side is pure white, which can become a problem over time. WEIGHT INFORMATION: This duvet is HEAVY. It's not overweight, but it has noticeable weight. The bag contains safety instructions and information on how to use it properly and safely with your child. I'm grown up and I feel the weight of it.
