Super easy plug and play but the tinted lenses are so dark the light isn't very bright

It was a 5 minute swap for my 2008 Electra-Glide Classic. Looks great, appears to be good quality. Love it but had a few comments about how people can barely see my tail/brake light through the dark smoke lens. I work great and look great but I decided to swap it out for another LED taillight when my wife was driving behind me and told me she couldn't see my taillight and could barely see it when I hit the brakes . With all the inattentive drivers, the last thing I need is a brake light that is hard to see.
