The little engine that couldn't

Received today. I was very excited when I opened it but was more disappointed than last season of Lost when I finally turned it on for my son. On a flat road it can crawl 3 small trucks like those sold in cheap starter kits. If I use the fourth car, it won't move much. I have one of the small bridges. gentle slope to climb the bridge. If my engine pulls more than 1 small car, it cannot take a slight incline. With three at the back, it gets stuck on crooked tracks even on level ground. If I had to do it again, I would never have ordered it, I would have chosen a different motor. -update-had it for about 1 week, no longer usable. My kids had it by simply dragging 2 SMALL Brios behind it, the little ones that come with the starter kit. He could barely climb a single slope of the ramp to cross the small bridge. After the batteries died a bit, he couldn't make it back up the bridge and just got stuck halfway up the hill, in place, with the wheels spinning at one point. He wiped all the rubber pads off the tire and now even on his own without even TOWING another car. The motor cannot lift the small downhill part of the track. It gets stuck in the middle and stays in place. Complete and complete garbage. It is still usable, with 1 car behind it. Unfortunately, I had to hide my son's other carriages because he wants to use them for himself. This item has good reviews. So maybe I just got one of the slops. Hooray for me.
