Review on πŸ“± STM Dux Shell, Slim Case for Apple iPad Pro 12.9 (3rd Generation) with Apple Keyboard Folio Support - Black (stm-222-221L-01) by Ross Sugden

I had to reconsider this case because.

While the Apple Smart Keyboard offers almost no protection to the back of the iPad, this case makes up for the lack of protection, in this case it was it. I won't even comment on the iPad slipping off every time , when it's open (the "L" position for using the keyboard). it's kind of tolerable. But the problem is with the power button. After using it for 2 months, I can't stand the poor design of the power button cover. EVERY TIME I move the iPad - even try to use the Force on it - this case hits the power button - EVERY TIME. Siri appears. The iPad goes to sleep. Siri reappears. The iPad goes back to sleep. It's a constant annoyance due to a HORRIBLE design flaw. I understand why the price has dropped $20 since purchase (which is also a little annoying). The idea was promising, but the execution was terrible.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Something different
