This is such a cute dog bed. We had a new puppy in the house and needed an extra bed. I ordered the brown gradient in size medium and my first impression was positive. The faux fur is very fluffy and the bed feels soft and cozy, especially with the roll around it. The puppy is just over two months old, weighs about 6 pounds and is a little ugly. At first he wasn't quite sure what to do with this shaggy newcomer and figured he could force him into submission. He spent about the first 30 minutes showing the beds who was in charge before giving up and falling asleep in them. Given the choice between his old, shabby bed and a new one, he will choose his old bed to sleep in, but he likes to play with the new one. When the old is in the wash, he sleeps in the new. He even likes it upside down. The bed is quite light and tilts slightly to the side if the pup sleeps with their head down. It looks terribly uncomfortable, but every time I put it back in, it crawls out after a few minutes. While fluffy, the padding in the middle of the bed isn't as dense and supportive. It works best when placed on a thick mat for comfort. Our older dog is too big for this bed and has a much better quality bed but loves this one. I have to chase after her all the time. The bed holds up well to the daily onslaught of the beast and I love that it can be washed and tumble dried with ease. The current price of $24.99 seems reasonable, although I would have liked a little more padding.
