Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance Your AXWG-03B with the Vantage Point AXWG-01B Glass Component Shelf in Black by Tracey Brown

Revainrating 5 out of 5

does what it should; Directions are questionable

This shelf is fairly easy to assemble (two large rack screws) and is solid enough for most purposes. I like the finish on glass. The bracket that attaches the shelf to the main post requires nuts and bolts, and the placement of the screw holes is such that the main post acts like a wrench, holding the nuts firmly in place - very handy. The glass appears to hold firmly when installed "properly" or vice versa, allowing for some personal style choices. - I almost racked my brains on the first one as it did what it said, even with the torque limiter on my driver. When I drilled slightly larger holes it worked and still seems very solid. Alternatively, you can grab a few other lag screws, as another reviewer suggested (and a must if you plan on moving the shelf at any point). I would suggest making sure you need a shelf of that size. It's big enough to hold my old full-size stereo components, which is great if that's what you're looking for, but overkill if you're just going to put a bookshelf speaker (or similar) on it.
