This set is adorable and different from other common toddler tables and chairs! Goes really well with most decorations. Children do not slide off the chairs, adults sit comfortably on them. The table and chairs are very stable and will not tip over - my son did not attempt to lift the table as it is too heavy to fully lift it off the floor. I love that my hardwood floors don't get scratched when he decides he needs to move both the chairs and the table! It's extremely easy to wipe down table and chair surfaces - one day my son ate cherries at the table and the juice spilled everywhere. He made art by smearing cherry juice on the table and it wasn't cleaned until the next day - no stains or evidence he made art out of cherry juice! The only complaint I have is that the chair legs in the set I received are not as smooth as the table legs - they don't appear to have been sanded/polished the same way! Not sure if this was done on purpose. It will be interesting to see how you can get the dirt off your feet! The width of the table is a good size - big enough for two toddlers to work on separate art projects or eat, and enough room for a third - the fourth seat is really tight for toddlers, giving them a reason to stretch out over the space to argue.
