I wanted a mobile mount for one reason: to have access to the HDMI and other ports on the back of the TV. I hate taking the TV off to add or swap cables. While I only use a slight downward tilt and no side-to-side orientation in my application, this works PERFECTLY for my problem of accessing the cable outlets on the back of the TV. This mount is VERY STRONG, the tilt is easy to tighten to maintain the viewing angle. A few more things I really liked: 1.) It is designed to be mounted on 24" center studs. Because my install location is VERY TIGHT and I had no idea where the studs were in the wall when ordering. I wanted to be able to adjust the mount A LOT so I could center the TV no matter where the bolts land. 2.) I love how easy it is to mount and remove the TV once the base is in place. Simply attach the bracket to the TV, hang the bracket on the wall mount, slide to the middle and tighten the screws.
