Love this mount, just have a couple of complaints. First, screws designed to screw into wall studs are the cheapest aluminum screws. The head came off when we tried to use an electric drill with a screwdriver tip. Do yourself a favor - when you receive the package, take out the screws, go to the hardware store and buy good steel screws of the same size. Installation is a bit of a hassle - I initially set it 6 inches higher than I should have because the instructions weren't clear on how high the screen would be above the frame. Attachment is fine BUT the attachment template is wrong! Even more annoying is that the mounting holes contribute to closer spacing between the spikes. With 16" bolt holes, the template deviates by approx. 1/2". This makes a big difference when punching holes in studs compared to drywall. IMPORTANT: Brackets with holes will not fit the bracket. I wanted a mobile mount for one reason: to have access to the HDMI and other ports on the back of the TV. I hate taking the TV off to add or swap cables. While I only use a slight downward tilt and no side-to-side orientation in my application, this works PERFECTLY for my problem of accessing the cable outlets on the back of the TV. I'm not worried about it sliding off the wall - ever. But hanging it on the wall is a different story. Whoever designed this thing doesn't seem to understand the purpose of the slotted mounting holes on the wall plate. The standard US stud spacing is 16 inches. The purpose of the slotted mounting holes is to allow for some variation in that. Overall this TV mount works great. It was pretty easy to install, easy to adjust, and feels solid. The most important feature of this mount is that this mount allows you to center the TV almost exactly where you want it, even if the TV is pushed all the way back. Wall. With the other mount I've tried, and many others, as far as I can tell it depends on where your wall studs are when the TV is pressed against the wall. I'm surprised the description doesn't clearly indicate that this is possible.
