Allows you to position the TV in the right spot

Overall this TV mount works great. It was pretty easy to install, easy to adjust, and feels solid. The most important feature of this mount is that this mount allows you to center the TV almost exactly where you want it, even if the TV is pushed all the way back. Wall. With the other mount I've tried, and many others, as far as I can tell it depends on where your wall studs are when the TV is pressed against the wall. I'm surprised the description doesn't clearly indicate that this is possible. Of course, you can adjust the position of the TV back and forth with many other brackets, but the TV has to be pulled out of the wall to do this. Because this mount has extension brackets, you can center the device almost anywhere between two studs, although I think this will only be the case with 16" studs. In my case I just added extension brackets to one end of the bracket which allowed me to center the TV almost exactly where I wanted it. You're a little limited as to where the holes are, but you should be able to get it exactly centered, or at least within less than an inch of center if the holes aren't exactly where you need them . Also, when you mount your TV to the mount, you can also slightly off-center it so you can fine tune that way (maybe an inch or so depending on where your TV's inputs are located. Other than that, it's a TV ) and does what you expect. The degree of rotation I believe depends on the size of your TV. When it's bigger, it doesn't spin as much until you're limited to banging into a wall. I have a 40" TV installed and I can rotate more than the advertised 45 degrees. If your TV were smaller, you could probably swing it almost perpendicular to the wall. Rotating and side to side movements can be done in a jiffy, but up/down movements and leveling must be adjusted with a tool.

Pros
  • Works great for me
