They seem too big at the waist for a size 12 and in relation to the leg width. My average weight 11 1/2 year old grandson has a very large waist. The waist is adjustable, but that's not enough to keep the pants from looking ridiculous. Odd fit aside, the denim wash color looks nice and the stretch is on point. This is a good buy for the right size and body type.
