Make sure you have purchased the correct adapters. There are 1/4 stereo jacks and there are mono jacks. If you have a guitar amp, you need a 1/4" stereo headphone jack, not this one. If you have a Behringer stereo amp and/or midi keyboard, buy this. I've seen all sorts of reviews about plugging in 90% adapters so they work in both channels won't work properly or you'll get an unreliable signal or whatever, but they're probably mixing mono devices and stereo jacks. I did too. Take a close look and fix mistakes before calling them erroneous poses. They work great with my stereo materials.
