I recommend the "Lite" or lower back version. I can't compare it to the Elite bracelet as I don't have it. However, I can say with certainty that it is extremely comfortable to wear during long, hour-long activities. And the detachable back padding is a big plus as you can clean it up after those sweaty gaming sessions. There are some downsides, but I personally don't see them as a major obstacle. Installing on your Quest 2 is very difficult and you might seem like you are about to break it. But to snatch the stakes, you have to make a lot of effort.
