After using these cooking containers for a few weeks I think this is a great product. Hope they hold up over time. I only put the glass part in the microwave and dishwasher, the lids are hand washed, not in the microwave. I thought this would keep them running like new for a long time. I still have to put the container in the lid, which I didn't intend to do when I bought it. The size is great and I can easily fit 1 cup of brown rice, 0.5 cups of broccoli, and 6 ounces of chicken. So this gives you an example of how to use size. I will most likely order another set so I have more. UPDATE: After 10 months of use, each has chipped in multiple places around the edges. The function of the lid does not seem to be affected by the chips, it still works like the first day. However, what worries me is that I have no idea where the broken glass went. In all cases I only noticed that the glass was cracked and did not see it break. They are definitely not as durable as my Pyrex shells, which have been used for several years without a single scratch.
