This is a great design and it works most of the time, but it's a little flimsy and flexes a little when there's a heavy cat in it. Also the sides and mesh openings are a great idea although you have a cat that hates car rides and like me gets put in this backpack she will claw, claw and bite the mesh like my cat did with stress. On her first ride in the car, she had torn a large hole in the net. In general, if you have a small, obedient cat that doesn't ride in a car, that's fine.
