Winter is coming and the bleak days when I'm stuck at home are best spent doing something I enjoy. I chose the orange slices puzzle and wow, am I excited about working on it. When I lifted the puzzle box out of the shipping box, I was shocked at the weight. Yes, a 1000 piece puzzle is usually heavier than a 100, 300, or 500, but this one is noticeably heavier. When it comes to puzzles, weight implies quality. The puzzle pieces do not disappoint. They are well cut with no peeling or ruffled edges and fit together cleanly. This isn't the kind of puzzle I can complete in an afternoon so I'm glad I have a puzzle mat so I can roll it up after an enjoyable day of working on it. This is what I call a challenging puzzle since the design has a large portion of similar orange and yellow shades as well as the circle shapes of the slices. It's going to be fun this winter working on this. This is an excellent puzzle for the puzzle enthusiast or those who like a challenge. I consider it good exercise for my hands and brain. It would also make a great gift. Highly recommend!
