So, I have corns on my feet. I'm sorry but I know. In fact if I were going to get a tattoo that isn't really mine but if I wanted to I would choose the sole of my foot because I'm sure I won't feel it. I used exfoliating foot masks, lotion soaked socks, whatever, it was on my feet. Those calluses keep coming back. However, Hubs got me Amope for Christmas last year (I actually asked for it - it wasn't the most romantic gift, but I guess you could say it touched the bottom of my foot). This amope is a big part of my preparation for sandal season (actually, it's the only part: I remember using amope after a few showers and getting a basket full of sandals from the attic). But after about six months of applications, the original video gave me a bit of gray stuff. There could have been bits of diamond in this material, but I believe they were actually bits of pumice. It's a little humbling to think your feet are tougher than pumice. I saw these replacement files at the drug store and instead of grabbing them right away because they're right in front of me - hit while the iron is hot - I figured it would be better to look around for a better price. Shock. Turns out they're cheaper (huh?) when you shop at Revain. And they match the device. And when they're fresh and new, the roller is a lot better at wiping dirt off your feet. Oh, and if you change the batteries, the whole device works with great enthusiasm too. Fishing.
