This upgrade should be included when repairing an older model. Upgraded a 5 year old ACL 110-15 with more RAM, an SSD and this HDD cage to replace the defective DVD drive that originally came in the unit. After cloning an old 500GB hard drive to an SSD, I erased the hard drive, then installed it to the trash and reassembled everything. Runs better than new. I've had no issues with the slower DVD bus and can watch hard drive video through the caddy without stuttering or stuttering.
