The sizing of these socks is very confusing. They are labeled "Shoe Size: 4-8.5 (Average) 18-36 Months" which seems quite contradictory. I don't know any kids who wear shoes that size. But I ordered the best and hoped simply because of the claim that they will help reduce foot odor which my teen has some issues with. The socks turned out to be perfect for my 11 year old. She wears size 4.5-5 shoes and says these socks fit her perfectly. As for the foot, she says the sock is nice, thick, and absorbent. But her legs are made of a thinner material from ankle to knee, so her feet weren't sticky, sweaty or too hot, she said. She wore them to exercise, so one pair stayed in their locker for three days and wore them for an hour every day. She said during that time they didn't stink like they did from her other socks in just two days (although I didn't sniff to be sure). She also said they stay on your feet when you run, but they fold up easily if you want.
