Revainrating 5 out of 5

There was no CD included as it was supposed to be

. Hello everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know how this part works. When I first received the part I went and installed the drivers and software that I needed to install. As announced, no disc was included. So I went to their website and set it up. After downloading the program, I launched the application. He kept saying that he couldn't connect to the tuner. After trying 5 or 6 times to get it to work, I read the messages that were in the window above the connection attempt numbers. It tries to connect 10 times. I ran the update 5 or 6 times and it kept saying unable to connect/update. Appon, reading the text above the trials, said it was fully updated. So I clicked on the file and opened the Tacho Calibration section. Once it opened, I chose my truck from the menu. Provide the tire size that my truck originally came with. They were 270-70R 18, in the next field you can enter the new tire size in inches or metric. I chose inches and just put 35. Because my new tires are 35X12.50/R18. I did this twice to make sure I was correct and each time it reported a successful update. I then transferred it to my truck and it was the easiest setup I've done for my truck. I got it done in about 20 minutes. Then I downloaded the GPS speed app on my iPhone. And took my truck for a ride. The speed was perfect. It also corrected my shift points. Well, most of them. The only issue I have is that when you're cruising at 60-70 mph on the freeway it takes about a minute for it to roll over. It also changed my distance to blank settings. Before the new tires you could say I do 420 miles on one tank of gas. Now after I filled it in it showed 568. That number is way off. Just got back from a 3.5 hour one way drive and put 430 miles on one tank of gas. My mpg before the big tires was between 19-22 mpg. After that big tire chip, my consumption is around 17-20mpg. So I'm very happy that I'm still getting that many mpg with my Toyota Tundra 1794, which is limited to 17 copies. With 5.7 liter V8 engine. Now, in addition to this chip, I have made another performance chip. Look at the pictures of the truck and you will see everything I did with the truck. Okay, never mind, I can't attach photos. Overall I am very happy with this calibration chip. worth your money.
