ATTENTION! Be careful whether you order a stool or two. I ordered one from the Revain Vine review program and bought another at the same time. Both arrived at the same time and are exactly the same. While these aren't the highest quality, most durable bar stools, priced at around $85 (at the time of this review), I'm pleased. "Industrial" look and go well with my little log cabin in the mountains. Best of all, they fit nicely under my bar and don't get in the way. These stools add a little interest to my bar without taking up too much space. They just blend together, but in a good way. Solid wood seat. The legs are made of metal. The legs are not strong as they are too light to be strong, but these stools are light. VERY EASY to assemble. It took me about 10 minutes for each chair. The seat attaches to the metal with four screws, and you simply "screw" the top with the seat to the bottom with the legs. Did. Everything fits perfectly, no problem. The gray paint on the legs doesn't shine and doesn't look "new" which I needed. They have a rustic "old stuff" look, which is what I wanted. My wood is dark brown, with reddish tones but not cherry red, and not shiny but with a slight satin sheen. No wobble! They sit firmly on the ground without swaying. Hooray! I'm glad I took the risk and bought one in addition to the one I got for free to try. The seats are rotatable and height-adjustable. glide even more smoothly over the laminate. You sit comfortably on them – just as comfortably as solid wood bar stools without a backrest. The back of them is only a few inches long and prevents you from slipping backwards, but you can't lean your back on them - I wanted backless so I was happy with that. (And they come very well packaged to avoid damage). I only give them 5 stars for meeting my needs at a price I can afford.
