The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Cleanser was a frequent step in my facial cleansing routine. I switched to Cetaphil Oil Control Foaming Cleanser after realizing I was still having severe acne problems. Like many others, I have read that oil, like almost everything in the world, is good in moderation. Some people suggest removing it entirely while cleaning causes overproduction so I switched to this one knowing that tea tree is a natural antiseptic and would be a good cleanser. I have to deduct a star for the combination of scent and foam quality. The scent expected from the tea tree is strong and there is no attempt to add anything else to balance it out. The foam is not permanent. Sometimes it can actually be water and difficult to massage before it drips off your face. Other than those very minor complaints, I really love this stuff. I combine it with La Roche Pose Medicine which is more like a silky gel. With this material, a small drop makes a big difference. I use it first to cleanse and cleanse and La Roche to treat damaged skin.
