I use this when I get bowl-shaped corn chips (I used to make a Mexican 7-layer dip and used regular chips, but portion control was difficult). This is good to store the various ingredients: salsa, yogurt, bean dip, guacamole, shredded cheese, sliced olives, sliced peppers, and cilantro. I use a couple smaller containers to subdivide the largest compartment. This has always been used at home so far, as I don't travel much.
