I use this for my snacks/fruit, however I don’t have a big enough lunch bag to lay this flat so it’s slightly tilted to its side. I bought another bento box last school year for my son, from a different maker and company and the food would all leak into one another. By the time my son got to lunch his chips would be covered in applesauce. So I never thought I’d get another one. I use this when I get bowl-shaped corn chips (I used to make a Mexican 7-layer dip and used regular chips, but portion control was difficult). This is good to store the various ingredients: salsa, yogurt, bean dip, guacamole, shredded cheese, sliced olives, sliced peppers, and cilantro. I use a couple smaller containers to subdivide the largest compartment. This has always been used at home so far, as I don't travel much.

I bought this for our kids (6 and 4 years old). My kids use these every day, and they fit just the right amount of food. They can be tough to close after a few uses and washes. Sometimes I have to lean on it to get it to snap shut. Other than that, I really like them.

The bento box is great for my sons school lunches or a day out. However the lid on these does not easily snap on, it seems like it is the wrong fit. It is supposed to easily slide on and then snap shut. My son has a hard time un-snapping it open and sometimes he’s had stuff fly out. I have not put this in the dishwasher as this was stated in the cleaning instructions.

This food/lunch box, works well, but it appears a little smaller than we expected. We are buying a larger lunch box, to really enjoy lunch with a bigger appetite! Thanks.

The box has great portion size for young kids and is leak proof but is a bit hard for my 5 yr old to close . Other than that I love it.

Upon receiving, the box looked nice at first. Then I noticed a huge scratch on the lid. It also had finger prints and smears on it. it looks used! I got this a gift for my daughter because money is tight right now. Otherwise I'd buy a new one. Extremely disappointed. Also, the lid is extremely tight that I could barely get it off but it does state 7+ for tight lid.

I love the sizes of the different areas in this box and my daughter loves it, but from day one it’s been incredibly hard to get the lid fully on and the latches locked. Once it’s on it’s fantastic - no leaks whatsoever. But I do use it less just because I don’t feel like wrestling it. My daughter is in preschool and has grow-ups to help, wouldn’t suggest this for an elementary school child who is taking the lid on and off on their own. They wouldn’t be able to do it. I liked this product. But then realized that my kid did not have enough time to eat at least half of what’s packed in there - because she was fumbling to open it and then struggled to close it back up at clean up time.I’d recommend this for at least 10 year olds.

We love this box for lunches. Best for dry food. The corners stop sealing after a while even though hand washed. Cannot put food that stains like sauce because hard ti wash after. But we still love this box for our 4 and 5 year old boys.

I got these bento boxes for my daughters. They are the perfect size. They love filling the little compartments and pick much healthier options to fill them than before when they just put everything in a plastic bags. They are also leak proof and very well made.
