The thing works great. I work from home and when I use this the bottom of my laptop gets very hot. I put this under him and it kept him cool all day. I really feel that being cool improves the performance of my laptop. I had no problems with freezing or anything. No batteries or charging is the best feature of this device. It also didn't drain my laptop battery faster. I really felt that the battery lasted longer. and the cool LED lights on the fan make it even better.
