Although I measured correctly, the shoes are made slightly uncomfortable in the heel area, which caused my child's foot to push forward and prevent the heel from touching the back, which resulted in his toes hanging slightly off the front of the shoe. If it hadn't been made that way, it would have fitted perfectly. I also find the shoes a bit awkward for him. It tends to get stuck with them on hardwood and carpets. They are good but overpriced in my opinion. The only reason I bought this shoe was so his chunky feet could fit in and get used to the shoes. I wouldn't buy another pair but so far they're doing the job.
